New Delhi: The trial in the case involving the double murders Aarushi Talwar and Hemraj, began in a court here today, nearly four years after the crime was committed.

Aarushi's parents-Nupur and Rajesh Talwar-who are co-accused in the case, were present in the Ghaziabad Sessions court.

Later in the day, the Supreme Court will also continue its hearing of the Talwars' review plea.

The Talwars' have argued that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) hasn't looked at the possibility of an outsider's hand in the murders and claim that there are big gaps in investigations.

The apex court is also expected to take up Nupur Talwar's bail plea.

Aarushi was murdered on the intervening night of May 16-17, 2008 at her Noida residence and the body of the Talwars' domestic help Hemraj was found on the terrace of the house the next day.
