Noida: The pathology records in the Aarushi murder case were found missing from the District Government Hospital, the chief medical superintendent said on Sunday.
When the cupboards were opened by the district administration on Saturday on a CBI request, the records were found missing, chief medical superintendent S C Singhal said.
"The pathologist has been on unauthorised leave for the last few months. The CBI was asking for original pathology reports. In the presence of a four-member team led by city magistrate, two almirahs in the pathology department were broken open. The CBI (team) scanned the records in the almirahs but records pertaining to 2008 period were missing. Aarushi murder case reports required by the CBI were in that file," Singhal said.
He said the hospital would be sending a letter to pathologist asking her about the missing file.
Aarushi was found murdered at her flat at Jal Vayu Vihar in Sector 25 here on May 16. Next day the body of domestic help Hemraj was recovered from the terrace of Aarushi’s house.
