Director Abijit Das and producer Kalyan Bose on Thursday launched their upcoming Bengali film titled 'Aashbo Aar Ekdin' in Kolkata.
Kalyan Bose has penned the script of the film.
Talking about the movie, Kalyan said: "It is a very simple and cosmopolitan story. It's a story basically closed to my heart."
The film will feature popular Tollywood actors Rupa Ganguly, Swastika Mukherjee, Arindam Sil, Abir Chatterjee, Gaurav Chakraborty, Aloknanda Roy and Ridhima Ghosh.
"I will essay the role of a girl who wants to be a singer. This is a challenging role for me as I am not a singer in real life" actor Ridhima said.
This will be the first Bengali movie where popular Bengali actor Swastika Mukherjee will be paired opposite actor Abir Chatterjee.
