Acid attack on four sisters in UP; one critical

Muzaffarnagar: Two men on a bike allegedly threw acid at three women teachers and a student in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar district yesterday, reports NDTV. The four victims are sisters who were returning from school after a board exam when the men allegedly attacked them.

One of them is in a critical condition and has been sent to Delhi's Gangaram Hospital for treatment.

"We were coming back from work when two men came on a bike; they had their faces covered and attacked us with acid and ran away," one of the siblings said to the channel.

The police are yet to identify the men on the bike.
