Actor Ali Zafar turns 33 today

Bollywood actor-singer Ali Zafar turned 33 years on Saturday.

The Pakistani musician, composer, singer, song writer, painter and actor started his career with the song "Jugnuon Se Bhar Le Aanchal" in the film ´Shararat´, directed by Pakistani actress and director Samina Peerzada.

He also wrote his first comic book at the age of 8.

Zafar earned fame with his album ´Huqa Pani´ that sold over five million copies worldwide.

Zafar made his mark in Bollywood following his acting debut in the successful 2010 film ´Tere Bin Laden´ directed by Abhishek Sharma.

His second film was ´Mere Brother Ki Dulhan´ followed by ´London, Paris, New York´.

He was recently seen in the film ´Chashme Baddoor´ directed by David Dhawan.

Zafar won the award for "Best Album" category at the Lux Style Awards in 2004 for his massive hit album Huqa Pani.

He also won the "Best Male Artist" at the 2008 MTV awards.
