Mumbai: The scam-tainted Adarsh Society on Wednesday moved an application before the special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court saying that it needed the documents seized by the agency during the searches in January.
The application says that it needs the documents for the legal purpose and for the day-to-day affairs.
The matter is likely to be heard on August 25.
The society, which stands in upscale Colaba area of South Mumbai, is alleged to have come up in violation of many civic and environmental rules.
Apart from CBI, a two-member judicial panel is also probing how the Society got various approvals, and their legality.
