Panaji, Oct 22 (IBNS) A right wing Hindu group - Hindu Janjagruti Samiti (HJM) Goa unit, has demanded banning Karan Johar's latest release 'Student of the Year' arguing that the movie offends Lord Krishna's Radha.

"The Radha song labels Her as 'sexy Radha'. It is an insult to the sentiments of Hindus who worship Lord Krishna and Radha," HJS Convener Manoj Solanki said as several protestors demonstrated against the movie outside Inox multiplex Sunday.

The Hindu group, also protesting against Akshay Kumar's 'Oh My God' and another movie 'Shudra-The Rising' has demanded that censor board ban the screening of such movies.

The protestors have threatened to intensify their agitation if the government fails to adhere to their demands.

HJS has been also demanding that Akshay Kumar should not be invited to the opening of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) being held in the state next month.
