Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Police raided a house on the outskirts of the city that they say was the hub of planning and bomb-making ahead of the July 26 blasts here, officials said.
Following the revelations made by Zahid Qutubbdin Sheikh, the police late on Friday went to the double-storey building in Al Ahmedi Society, near Nabinagar at Narol on the outskirts of the city and recovered bomb-making material including timers, batteries, detonators, power supply cables attached to batteries and polythene bags for packing bombs.
Maps depicting exact locations where the bombs were to be planted were also found, the officials said.
