Low cost airline service provider, AirAsia on Thursday announced the launch of its first ever direct flights from Chennai to Bangkok, Thailand starting from Mar 22.
The tickets for the flight will go on sale from Feb 9 with a special all-inclusive, return fare of 6,666 INR.
Tickets can be booked online at www.airasia.com during Feb 9 to Feb 14 for travel during Mar 23 - Oct 27.
Tassapon Bijleveld, CEO of Thai AirAsia said, "India is still a very important market for us. We recognize that there is a very strong demand for travel between Bangkok, Thailand and many major cities in India."
"Today we are very glad to announce that low fares and direct flights will be available 5 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday) for travel between Chennai and Bangkok."
