Parents of murdered Indian student Anuj Bidve are likely to visit the spot where their son was murdered on Friday.
Anuj´s family is likely to offer prayers at Salford.
They are scheduled to return to India by Friday evening with Anuj´s body.
Earlier on Thursday, Anuj´s family saw his body for the first time at a funeral parlour in London.
Anuj´s father, mother and brother-in-law left for London to bring back the body of the Indian student who was shot and killed on Dec 26.
Bidve, 23, was studying for a micro-electronics postgraduate qualification at Lancaster University and had been visiting friends when he was killed in Salford in the apparently motiveless attack in the early hours of Boxing Day.
According to media reports, the university has decided to return Anuj´s tuition fees.
The man accused for the murder has termed himself to be a 'Psycho'.
The 20-year old Kiaran Stapleton said before the City of Manchester Magistrates Courton on Monday that his name was "Psycho. Psycho Stapleton".
