AR Rahman thanks fans on 46th birthday

Indian musical maestro AR Rehman turned 46 on Friday as he thanked his fans in a popular micro-blogging site for wishing him on this day.

"Thanks everyone for the warm wishes!" tweeted Rahman.

He also posted a video link on his Twitter page where he is seen greeting his fans for their wishes.

Rahman will team up with The German Film Orchestra Babelsberg for a concert tour titled-"Classic Incantations - The German Film Orchestra Babelsberg performs AR Rahman"-that will perform at the five major cities of the country between Jan 20 to Jan 29.

The concert will observe the centenary of both Indian cinema and Studio Babelsberg.

Located in Potsdam-Babelsberg in Germany, Studio Babelsberg, is one of the world´s oldest film studio.

Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Bangalore will witness the concert in the upcoming weeks.

"Classic Incantations - Babelsberg German Film Orchestra performs A. R. Rahman.Orchestral performance of my scores coming to Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Bangalore this month," Rahman had posted on a micro-blogging site.

Rahman is likely to be present at most of the concerts.

The Oscar-winning music composer had mermerised his fans with his soul touching compositions for Imtiaz Ali´s lasr released film ´Rockstar´.
