Australia beat India, win series

Perth, Jan 15 (IBNS) Australia defeated India by an innings and 37 runs in the third Test match here, clinching the series though one more Test is left to be played.

India were bowled out for 171 on day three.

While this is India´s straight seventh overseas defeat in Test series, Virat Kohli top scored for the visitors making 75 runs before he was felled by Peter Siddle.

For Australia Ben Hilfenhaus (4-54) scalped three wickets in one over.
