Amritsar: Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal on Saturday paid obeisance at the Golden Temple, his first visit to the Sikh shrine after the state assembly election.
"I am thankful to the masses for peaceful voting and for the maximum turnout," he told reporters here.
Praising the Election Commission, Badal said it did a satisfactory work.
Attacking the Centre, he said it was yet to issue a notification on completion of the SGPC poll process.
This was preventing the formation of SGPC executive committee and selection of its chief, Badal said.
On Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee election, he said the SAD would actively participate in this.
