Police have arrested three men from Tamil Nadu in connection with the Bangalore blast that injured 16 people, including 11 policemen, near the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) city office on Apr 17, officials said.
Media reports citing sources said that the three men arrested were suspected of facilitating the attacks.
While two men have been arrested from Chennai, one was taken into custody from Madurai.
The bomb, believed to be placed on a motorcycle with a Tamil Nadu registration plate parked between a van and a car, went off around 10.30 AM about 100 metres from the BJP office in Malleshwaram on Apr 17.
City Police Commissioner Raghavendra Auradkar said a motorbike with an "incendiary bomb" was used in the blast that coincided with the third anniversary of Chinnaswamy stadium blast in which several people were injured.
