Basu twist to Buddha-Mamata word-war

Former West Bengal Chief Minister and CPI (M) patriarch Jyoti Basu said Trinamool Congress and Maoists are taking law into their own hands.

"Everyday our workers are getting killed. Common people, police personnel, doctors, nurses are also slain. Our party office is burnt. Trinamool Congress and Maoists are doing this together. They are taking law into their own hands," Basu said in a statement. 

Maoists, Marxists both sides of same coin: Mamata


The war of words continue unabated between West Bengal chief minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharya and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee. He had hit back at her after the latter called him a Maoist.

Mamata wants ban on CPM

Banerjee had earlier said Marxists and Maoists are 'two faces of the same coin'.

"Maoists and Marxists are one and the same. They work together," she said.
