Kolkata, Jan 19 (IBNS) There was slight side-dash between a truck and Sealdah-Santipur local on Ranaghat-Santipur section of Eastern Railway's Sealdah Division on Thursday. There was no injury or casualty.
"After passing Kalinarayanpur station on Ranaghat-Santipur section of Eastern Railway's Sealdah Division, there was slight side-dash between a truck and 31519 Up Sealdah-Santipur local (right side of EMU local) at 12.50 hrs today. There was no injury or casualty to any passenger," said an official statement.
At about 1.05 p.m. the train started from the site and reached Phulia station at 1.10 p.m. Finally the train reached its destination at Santipur at 1.27 p.m. The truck was unloading stone dust in connection with commissioning of double line.
Fog Delays Morning Train Services:
Due to dense fog on Eastern Railway's Sealdah & Howrah Divisions, suburban EMU services were about 30 minutes late upto 9.00 a.m. this morning.
Two Rajdhani Express trains i.e. 12302 Dn Howrah-bound Rajdhani Express got delayed for about 7 hours and 12314 Dn Sealdah- bound Rajdhani Express was also delayed for about 71/2 hours.
