Bihar BSEB Class 12 compartment exam results 2017 declared; 71.36 percent is pass percentage

Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has declared the results of Intermediate or Class 12 arts, science, commerce and vocational compartmental examinations.Candidates who had applied for the test may check for the results at their official website, biharboard.ac.in or bihar.indiaresults.com

This year, the pass percentage was 71.36%, compared to 40.43% last year, with 93,295 candidates passing in the exam out of the 1,30,741 candidates who had appeared in the examination.

The examination was conducted between July 3 and 13 this year. Releasing the results, BSEB Chairman Anand Kishor had said, “For the first time in the history of BSEB, the results of compartmental examination have been declared within one month after the examination.”

Out of 93,295 candidates who passed the examination, 6,517 passed with first division, 73,977 with second and 12, 801 with third division. The performance of girls was better that the boys with 48,878 girls clearing the exams against 44,417 boys.

Out of 55,798 candidates who appeared from arts stream, a total of 40,593 candidates  passed the examination recording a pass percentage of 72.75%. In commerce stream, 2272 candidates out of 3292 passed the examination, making it a pass percentage of 69.02%. In science, the pass percentage is 70.38 per cent as 50,430 candidates passed out of 71,651. In the vocational stream, 99 out of 158 candidates who appeared passed the exam, which is a pass percentage of 63%.

- Enter the relevant details in the spaces provided

Once the results are displayed, make sure to take a print of the same for future referece, until the official mark sheets are released.
