New Delhi, Feb 21 (IBNS) The main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday condemned the serial blasts in Hyderabad that killed at least eleven people and demanded a complete probe into the terror attack.

"It is a very sad and unfortunate incident and we condemn it," said BJP president Rajnath Singh.

"All assistance should be given to the victims and I am hopeful the state government will do its best," he said.

"There should be full investigation. It is a sad incident and I express my deep condolences to the families," he said.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh earlier condemned the bomb blasts in Hyderabad, which killed at least 11 people and wounded about 50 though other sources put the toll at 15.

The PM has also directed the central agencies to extend all possible help to the Andhra Pradesh state authorities in relief operations.

"This is a dastardly attack, the guilty will not go unpunished," the PM tweeted.

"I appeal to the public to remain calm and maintain peace," Singh said.

The two explosions were reported from Hyderabad´s Dilsukhnagar area. One of the affected area is called Cyberabad owing to the IT companies.

While two explosions occurred shortly after 7 pm, unconfirmed reports said a third blast also took place. Police, however, confirmed two blasts.

Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde said: "Two cycles were strapped with the explosives. In one place eight died while in another three died. At least 78 were injured."

The home minister, however, said there were intelligence reports of a possible strike and every state was alerted.

National Investigation Agency (NIA), the principal terror attack probe agency, will investigate the blasts.
