[India], Oct. 22 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Secretary H Raja on Monday tendered an unconditional apology for abusing the police and judges.
The BJP leader, who appeared in person before the Madras High Court, said that he made the remark "in a fit of rage" and realised his mistake later.
Following Raja's apology, the court has closed the case against him.
H Raja was caught on camera abusing and screaming at two policemen when he was stopped from taking a Vinayaka Chaturthi procession last month through a communally sensitive area.
He was also heard abusing the court using derogatory phrases. (ANI)
