BJP national secretary Vani Tripathi was allegedly attacked by five men while driving home on a busy road of South Delhi on Thursday night.
Tripathi was attacked by the men at around 9.15 p.m.
"Five men in inebriated condition tried to enter my car. When I locked myself inside the car, they smashed it," she said.
She said that though there were plenty of cars on the road, nobody stopped to help her.
"No one helped, there were thousands of cars on this road in Delhi. I fear what would have happened if my driver was not present," she added.
The attackers escaped by the time the police reached the spot. The police have got a complaint registered in this regard. (ANI)
