Gwalior: Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) district president Bunty Parmar was on Thursday shot dead at his residence-cum-office near here, police said.
Parmar (25), close to a senior State BJP stalwart, received a phone call around 7.30 am while he was at his parents' place following which he came down to his personal residence-cum-office at Garden Homes Apartment, they said.
After the people around heard the sound of firing around 10.30 am, they informed the police who rushed to the spot to find Parmar lying in a pool of blood.

He had sustained a bullet wound to his head, police said, adding that he was declared brought dead by the doctors after he was rushed to a hospital.
His brother's loaded pistol was found lying at the spot and it appeared as if the deceased too had wiped it out during the scuffle, the source said.
After receiving the phone call, Parmar had brought with himself the pistol having licence on his brother's name to the spot, indicating that he was having a dispute with some persons, the source said.
Investigations were underway in the case to arrest the culprits, police said.
