At least 57 people were killed and more than 170 others injured as co-ordinated bomb attacks rocked Baghdad on Thursday.
The bomb attacks took place in 13 locations that included al-Amil in the southern part of the city and in Halawi and Karrada.
Emergency vehicles immediately rushed to spots and authorities have tightened security at various checkpoints after the blasts.
However, it is not clear that who were behind the series of blasts that shook the Iraqi capital on Thursday.
Violence has reduced significantly in Iraq since 2007, but attacks have often disrupted the peace in the country.
