New Delhi, Nov 27 (IBNS) The Parliament witnessed continues disruptions on Tuesday as both Houses were adjourned till Thursday as the Opposition created ruckus over issues including Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in multi-brand retail.
The Lok Sabha was adjourned till Thursday after it reconvened at 2:00 pm amid ruckus over FDI.
The Rajya Sabha was earlier adjourned for the day after an uproar over the SC/ST quota.
Earlier in the day, the question hour was suspended again on the fourth day of the Winter Session of the Parliament and both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned till noon.
Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar tried her best to make the question hour continue by appealing to the women MPs to let a question on crime against women be put. But her attempts were drowned in the ruckus the Opposition created.
The Parliament has not been able to function since the beginning of the Winter Session last week because of sustained protests by the Opposition in both Houses over FDI in multi-brand retail.
Both Houses of the Parliament were also adjourned for the day on Monday as the Opposition continued to create uproarious scenes over the same issue.
