Brother India announces growth plans

Brother International India, a global player in the development, manufacturing and marketing of printing, communication and digital imagining technologies, on Friday declared its growth plans for the Indian market.

The company unveiled three new Mono Laser products to its existing portfolio of Mono Laser, Colour and Inkjet multi function centers and printers.

Brother International India noted that the new models are global strategic models which are specifically targeted at emerging countries.

Considering the East India region, with this initiative, Brother aims to achieve 15 percent market share by 2015.

Speaking on the occasion, Atsushi Iwamoto, General Manager, Brother Industries, Ltd., said, "It is an exciting time for Brother in the APAC region as we continue to remain motivated and pursue the growth opportunities available here."

"With our ´Customer First´ approach, we aim to deliver superior value by providing high quality and feature rich products to make a meaningful difference in our customer's lives and set industry benchmark."

Iwamoto added, "Additionally, with the launch of these new products, we reiterate our focus to the Indian market and ensure we continue to accelerate growth in the region."

Emphasizing on the launch, Yoshiji Matsul, Managing Director of Brother International India Pvt Ltd., said, "This is a very significant launch for Brother in India and is a result of constant innovation in developing and improving on technologies for the needs of each market."

Matsul added, "East India is a critical market for Brother in India. All markets in East India have always shown an encouraging response leading to an enriching experience with customers."

"Our new range of products are an example of evolved engineering endeavoring to meet the unique demands of unique customers."

"We envisage a significance demand for Mono Laser category in Indian market and aim to double our business in this category this year by achieving greater satisfaction and support from Indian customers with reliable affordable and efficient products," he said.

The HL-1111 is a Monochrome Laser Print with 20 ppm print speed that offers USB 2.0 connectivity with a 200Mz Processor.

The DCP-1511 is a Monochrome Laser MFC, which offers 16 MB memory has high speed USB 2.0 connectivity with 200Mz Processor.

The MFC- 1811 is same as above along with a 10 page ADF.
