The BSE Sensex fell 0.32 percent on Friday, as investors booked profits following gains this week and IT stocks dipped on outlook.
The 30-share benchmark index ended 62.70 points lower at 19,424.10 with 19 of its components closing in the red.
The broader 50-share National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty index ended 0.40 percent or 23.50 points lower at 5,907.40 on Friday.

Meanwhile in the New Delhi bullion market, gold climbed by Rs 210 to Rs 31,550 per 10 grams while silver spurted by Rs 700 to Rs. 61,700 per kg.
