BSE Sensex gains on foreign inflows

The BSE Sensex rose 0.15 percent on Friday as subdued blue chip stocks recovered on brightened outlook.

The 30-share benchmark index ended 30.00 points higher at 19,704.33 with 15 of its components closing in the green.

The broader 50-share National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty index ended 0.28 percent or 16.50 points higher at 5,983.55 on Friday.

A extension of investments by foreign investors improved the outlook Indian shares, boosting prominent stocks.

Meanwhile in the New Delhi bullion market, gold fell by Rs 129 to Rs 26,311 per 10 grams while silver dropped by Rs 227 to Rs 43,344 per kg.
