BSE Sensex sinks further

The BSE Sensex fell 0.48 percent on Thursday as sentiment remained weak on political instability.

The 30-share benchmark index ended 91.32 points lower at 18,792.87 with 19 of its components closing in the red.

The broader 50-share National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty index ended 0.63 percent or 35.65 points lower at 5,658.75 on Thursday.

Prominent stocks tanked further as sentiments remained downbeat on concerns of reforms and proposed bills.

Meanwhile in the New Delhi bullion market, gold fell by Rs 120 to Rs 30,250 per 10 grams while silver also fell by Rs 250 to Rs 54,750 per kg.
