BSF seizes fake currency consignment

The Border Security Force (BSF) South Bengal Frontier Tuesday traced and seized a huge consignment of Fake Indian Currency Note (FCIN) which caused a major setback to the FICN racketeer, here.

On specific information, a special BSF party of 125 Bn BSF seized Counterfeit Indian Currency from the area of Sasani, under Police Station Kaliachak, District Malda.

BSF had seized FICN under the denomination of 12 notes of Rs 1000 and 76 notes of Rs 500 to a total Rs 50,000.

A case has been registered under Police station Kaliachak for further investigation and prosecution.
