Campfire Young Writer of the Year is a story writing competition for students from classes 5 to 9 will take place on a pan-India basis, with at least 1,000 schools participating.
One winner will be selected from each class. And from these class winners, one overall winner will be chosen. Anyone from classes 5 to 9, attending any school in India, can take part in this competition.
Contestants need to write a fictional story of 2,000 words, and submit their entry at www.campfire.co.in/youngwriters.
All entries must be received no later than 15th March 2012. The results will be announced during the first two weeks of April.
The winner will receive an iPad and an engraved trophy. Class winners will receive an Android tablet.
Winners will have their stories published as part of a Campfire anthology.
