CAT 2012 starts tomorrow

Kolkata, Oct 10 (IBNS) Prometric, a provider of market-leading test development and test delivery solutions, on Wednesday said it has completed preparation activities leading up to the conduct of the fourth computer-based Common Admission Test (CAT) on behalf of the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).

The CAT 2012 begins on October 11 and ends on November 6.

Candidates had 52 days to register for, and schedule their test starting from July 30.

The registration window for CAT 2012 ended on September 19 and a total of 2,14,068 candidates have registered for the test.

"Candidates are reminded to bring their latest Admit Card and a valid and original photo ID. The list of approved IDs is available on the CAT," said Soumitra Roy, Managing Director, Prometric India.

"They should also check the maps and directions on the CAT website, and plan appropriate travel time in order to arrive at their test centre at least 1.5 hours ahead of their scheduled test time," said Roy.

The test will be conducted in 61 test centres across 36 cities on 21 days within this window.
