The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has published the notification of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG)2018.Candidates who were waiting to apply for the examination may submit their applications through their official website, cbseneet.nic.in
The NEET is, a national level exam held for the candidates to get admitted to various medical and dental courses in India.CBSE is responsible for declaration of result and providing All India Rank for the purpose of counselling for 15% All India Quota Seats.

Exam date: May 6
Result declaration: June 5
1) Candidates should have passed class 12 or equivalent exam with physics, chemistry, biology/bio-technology and English individually. Moreover, they must have obtained a minimum of 50 per cent marks taken together in physics, chemistry and biology/bio-technology at the qualifying examination.
2) The candidate must have completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before December 31, 2018 i.e. the year of his/her admission to the 1st year M.B.B.S./B.D.S. Course
Exam pattern: The 3 hour pen and paper based exam starts at 10 AM and will contain 135 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Zoology and Botany).
The application fee is Rs 1400 for general candidates and Rs 750 for SC/ST/PH candidates. It has to be noted that since last year, CBSE made Aadhaar card mandatory for registration. This is, however, not applicable in Jammu and Kashmir, Assam and Meghalaya. For NRIs, passport number is required for the same.
