CBSE NEET UG 2018 application process expected to start in January 2018; More details are here

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon announce the registration process for CBSE National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2018.Candidates who wish to participate in the entrance exam may visit the official website, for more details.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate Courses (NEET UG) is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), for admission to MBBS/ BDS Courses in India in Medical/ Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/ Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament e.g. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry.

With the central board completing the application process for JEE mains 2018, the registration procedures for NEET UG 2018 are expected to start by the end of January 2018.According to sources, the NEET UG 2018 examination could be conducted in May 2018.

The official notification for NEET UG 2018 is not yet released but last year, the online application window to apply for the entrance test was open from January 31 to March 1.Hence there is high probability for the same timeline to be followed this year as well.

NEET UG 2018 will also be an objective test consisting of 180 questions under four sections.The total duration of the exam will be 3 hours and the test shall be conducted in ten languages such as Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Oriya and Kannada.
