Naidu suffered a minor injury when the dais from which he was speaking during a public meeting at Gadwal town in Mahbubnagar district collapsed on Friday.

A team of doctors reached Gadwal town and conducted medical tests on Naidu.

Doctors conducted a digital X-ray on Saturday morning and found the leader did not suffer a fracture. But they urged Naidu to take two to three days´ rest.

Doctors last night said Naidu suffered a sprain.

Naidu last night walked for a kilometer after the mishap but later stopped following back pain, reports said.

The leader, however, insisted on resuming his foot march after taking rest on Saturday.

Naidu´s wife Bhuvaneswari and his son N Lokesh reached Gadwal on Friday to look after the leader.
