A man on a flight from Spain to Puerto Rico is facing criminal charges for scuffling with a pilot after crew members accused him of stealing their iPad.

An FBI agent says in an affidavit that 37-year-old Juan Antonio Guzman Calso struck the captain's shoulders twice and "made advances" toward him as they argued. Guzman was traveling in business class when the crew on the Iberia flight noticed that an airline iPad with crew information was missing. The affidavit says crew members earlier saw Guzman trying to enter a restricted part of the plane, and the device was later found in the magazine compartment of an empty seat next to his.

He was charged Monday with interfering with a flight crew and jailed in San Juan. He has not yet entered a plea.
