Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) commandos were killed in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast triggered by the Maoists in Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh on Tuesday, said police.
The two commandos were killed on the spot when the vehicle in which they were travelling was blown up in the blast, said the police.
The deceased were identified as constable K P Singh and Mukul Burman.
They were carrying food for a CRPF camp that was located near the blast site.
Tuesday´s attack occurred a day after a CRPF trooper was killed when the rebels blew up an anti-landmine vehicle in the district.
