Chhattisgarh CGBSE 10th exam 2017 Results declared; Girls outshine boys, as usual

The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has declared the results of Class 10 board exams. More than 4.5 lakh students had appeared for the std 10th exams that was held from February 10 to March 2, 2017 at 2085 centres spread across the state of Chhattisgarh.

A total of 27 students have made it to the top ten list of which 20 are boys and 7 are girls.
Chetan Agrawal from Kiran Public H S School, Kurud, Dhamtari  with a score of 98.17% is the state topper in the exam.

Vinita Patel of Saraswati Shishu Mandir High School, Masturi ranks at the 2nd position.She has scored 97.67%.With 97.33%, Karan Sahu from Raipur is the 3rd place rank holder of 10th board exams.

- Visit the official website of CGBSE at or

- Fill the roll number in the column and press the submit button

- Save a copy of the result page or take a printout of it for reference

A total of 4,03,762 students had appeared in the CGBSE 10th board examination and 2, 21,846 students are declared to have passed successfully. Like every year, girls have fared better, with the pass percent of girls at 55.75% while boys are at 54.84 %, according to news reports.
