
The Saidapet Court on Monday deferred the bail plea of Wilhelmus Weijdeveld a.k.a. Will Heum, a Dutchman accused of sexually abusing children in India, till Wednesday.
"I'm being framed," same Heum after the hearing. "Someone else is using my IP address," he added.

The 56-year-old was arrested on November 7 following an Interpol police alert. He is also accused of uploading child pornographic material on the Internet.
The case against Heum has been registered under the new IT Act, which came into force on October 27. If convicted, he will face a maximum punishment of seven years' imprisonment and Rs 10 lakh fine.

A 2002 case against Heum is also pending trial. In this case, he was accused of molesting 40 orphans at Little Home, an orphanage opened by him in Mamallapuram.
Police had registered a case against Weijdeveld under varioussections, including Section 377 (unnatural sex) of the Indian Penal Code, formisbehaving with five boys in 2002.
Heum, who came to India 30 years ago and started "social work", stayed in Mamallapuram, where he befriended several children and started the orphanage.
