China to auction seized assets online

Beijing, Feb 11 (IANS) China has set up a common online auction platform to sell assets seized in lawsuits in the country.

Bidding statistics and results will be published on the website to ensure a fair process, Xinhua quoted a statement from the Supreme People's Court as saying Friday.

Information on auctions conducted by courts at all levels will be available on the website. China has continually worked to reform the judicial auction system in the past 20 years, the statement added.
