Chennai Super Kings (CSK) defeated Yorkshire by four wickets in a Champions League Twenty20 match at Kingsmead here on Monday.
Chasing 141 for victory, CSK reached the target in 19 overs and by losing six wickets.
Subramaniam Badrinath remained the top-scorer for CSK with his 47 runs off 38 deliveries. He hit four boundaries in the innings.
MS Dhoni scored 31 runs off 23 balls, hitting two boundaries and two sixes.
Skipper Suresh Raina hit 31 runs off 30 balls in the match.
Iain Wardlaw, Steven Patterson and Oliver Hannon-Dalby picked up two wickets each for Yorkshire.
Earlier CSK won the toss and elected to field first.
CSK restricted Yorkshire to 140 runs for the loss of six wickets.
Gary Ballance remained the top-scorer for Yorkshire with his 58 runs off 38 balls. He hit one boundary and five sixes in the innings.
