Delhi Daredevils (DD) defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 52 runs in a Champions League Twenty20 match at Super Sport Park here on Saturday.
Chasing 161 for victory, the current Indian Premier League (IPL) winners managed to score 108 runs for the loss seven wickets.
KKR had the worst start to the innings and lost four wickets in five overs and with 24 runs on the scoreboard.
Manoj Tiwary remained the top scorer for the side with 33 runs from 38 balls. He hit two boundaries and six in the innings.
Gautam Gambhir (0), Manvinder Bisla (1) and Brendon McCullum (0) failed to deliver with the willows.
Irfan Pathan, Morne Morkel and Umesh Yadav picked up three wickets each in the match for Delhi Daredevils.
Earlier, Delhi Daredevils scored 160 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs.
Unmukt Chand (40) and Ross Taylor (36) added crucial 63 runs in the fourth wicket partnership.
Chand hit four boundaries and two sixes in his innings.
Sunil Narine picked up three wickets for KKR by giving away 21 runs.
In another match, Titans defeated Perth Scorchers by 39 runs.
