Common Law admission test - CLWA

The online registrations for common law admission test (CLAT) 2019 have started on January 13, 2018.Candidates who wish to appear for the entrance exam may visit the official website – or to submit their applications online.

The National Law University, Odisha is the organizing institute for CLAT 2019, which will conduct the examinations for candidates seeking admissions to 5-year Integrated and 1-year master programmes in law from the listed 21 national law universities in India.

Dates: The online enrollment for CLAT 2019 will open on 13th January 2019 and close on 31st March 2019.The CLAT 2019 examination will be held on Sunday, the 12th May 2019 (3:00 PM to 5:00 PM) in offline mode only.

Age limit: There is no upper age-limit mentioned to apply for any of the law programmes.

Educational Qualification:  Candidates applying for UG programmes ie. Five-Year Integrated Law Degree must possess 10+2 or equivalent examination certificate from a recognized Board with minimum 45% marks. (relaxation rules apply for SC/ST category candidates thereby making 40% marks as the minimum qualifying percentage)

Candidates applying for PG programmes ie. LLM degree must possess an LLB UG degree certificate from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks for general category candidates and 50% marks for SC/ST Category candidates.

While the application fees can be paid only online, the fee for General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI candidates is Rs.4,000 and for SC/ST/BPL category candidates, it is Rs.3,500.

- Fill in the application form, pay the application fees and submit the application forms
