Cloudy day in Delhi, drizzle likely

New Delhi, Feb 14 (IANS) It was a cloudy day for the capital Tuesday, with the maximum temperature settling at 23.6 degrees Celsius, average for the season. Parts of the city may receive light rain Wednesday, the Met office said.

The day started off on a cloudy note, with a minimum temperature of 11.2 degrees Celsius, a notch above average for this time of the season.

Humidity wavered between a high of 89 and low of 34 percent.

Wednesday may see light showers.

"A partly cloudy sky is expected during the day. Thundery development or light rain is expected in parts of the city," said an official from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) here.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to remain around 23 and 11 degrees Celsius, respectively.
