New Delhi, Nov 20 (IBNS) The All-India Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers [CPI-AL; CPI-RL] (Base: 1986-87=100) for October, 2012 increased by 7 points and 6 points respectively to stand at 680 (Six hundred and eighty) points for Agricultural Labourers and 681 (Six hundred and eighty one) points for Rural Labourers, revealed government numbers on Tuesday.
The rise/fall in index varied from State to State. In case of Agricultural Labourers, it recorded an increase which varied between 1 to 12 points in 19 States and a decrease of 1 point in 1 State.
Haryana and Maharashtra with 756 points each topped the index table whereas Himachal Pradesh with the index level of 556 points stood at the bottom.
In case of Rural Labourers, it recorded an increase between 1 to 11 points in 19 States and 1 State remained stationary.
Haryana and Maharashtra with 750 points each topped the index table whereas Himachal Pradesh with the index level of 580 points stood at the bottom.
