New Delhi, Feb 4 (IBNS) The international crude oil price for Indian Basket as computed/published on Monday by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went up to US$ 112.50/barrel (bbl) on Feb 1.
This was higher than the price of US$ 112.39/bbl prevailing on the previous trading day of Jan 31.
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price increased to Rs 5998.50/bbl on Feb 1 as compared to Rs 5989.26/bbl on Jan 31.
This was due to rupee depreciation as rupee dollar-exchange rate on Feb 1 at Rs 53.32/US$ against Rs 53.29/US$ on previous trading day of Jan 31.
