New Delhi, Dec 28 (IBNS) The international crude oil price for Indian Basket as computed/published on Friday by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas increased at US$ 108.71/barrel (bbl) on Dec 27.
This was higher than the price of US$ 106.66/bbl prevailing on the previous trading day of Dec 26.
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price increased to Rs 5962.74/bbl on Dec 27 from Rs 5862.03/bbl on Dec 26.
This was due to rupee appreciation.
Rupee dollar-exchange rate on Dec 27 was Rs 54.85/US$ against Rs 54.96/US$ on previous trading day of Dec 26.
