The pain of celebration

The human mind claims to have solved many a mystery in this world and beyond. But to what end, when we can’t celebrate these feats drinking without fearing a hangover?

Out doctors, who have cure for serious ailments, have nothing for hangover.

They may say it is just a withdrawal syndrome, our body’s way of trying to process the alcohol and rid our system of it.

But ask the tipplers, who see it as a bane – determined by several factors like the type of drink – the darker the alcohol, the worse the hangover – and the person drinking –thin people are more likely to have worse hangover – the dishes we have with it, etc.

And the next day, world over different people offer different cures: from sports drink to tea to soup to spicy food to even another round of the drink.Till a perfect and instant cure is found, let’s see some of the popular remedies.
