New Delhi, Nov 3 (IANS) A Delhi court Saturday issued a production warrant to Tihar Jail authorities to present Mumbai terror attack suspect Abu Jundal Nov 26. He is currently in the custody of Gujarat Police.
District Judge I.S. Mehta issued the warrant against Jundal in a case filed by the National Investigation Agency.
The NIA lodged the case against Jundal for a conspiracy to organised terror attacks.
A magistrate court here Oct 20 handed the custody of Jundal to Gujarat Police till Nov 9 allowing them to interrogate him in connection with the Karnavati Express blast which left 25 injured in Ahmedabad in 2006.
Jundal was arrested June 21 by Delhi Police.
Police said that Jundal along with Lashkar-e-Taiba member Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi and others was present in the "control room" in Pakistan for monitoring the Mumbai attack Nov 26, 2008 that left 166 people dead.
