Delhi Daredevils beat Pune Warriors

Delhi Daredevils defeated Pune Warriors by eight wickets in the 31st match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium here on Tuesday.

Chasing 147 for victory, Delhi reached the winning score of 148 runs for the loss of two wickets in16 overs.

Skipper Virender Sehwag hammered a gutsy knock of 87 runs of 48 deliveries. He hit 10 boundaries and three six in his innings.

K Pietersen added crucial 27 runs with his bat.

Earlier, Pune Warriors had scored 146 runs for the loss of two wickets in their quota of 20 overs.

M Pandey remained the top scorer for Pune with his unbeaten knock of 80 runs.

R Uthappa remained not out on 60 runs.
