Delhi: Explosion injures Israeli diplomat

An Israeli diplomat was reportedly injured in a car explosion on Monday in New Delhi.

At least four people, including the female diplomat, was injured in the incident, media reports said.

The Innova SUV car was gutted after it exploded near a petrol pump.

The incident happened only metres away from the 7 Race Course Road-the official residence of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

The injured people were immediately rushed to hospital.
