Delhi police seizes 99 pistols from car

The Delhi police have seized 99 country-made pistols that were found from an Ambassador car in Delhi's Sonia Vihar, reports said on Wednesday.

The .32 bore pistols, which are generally possessed by criminals, have been made in Munger in Bihar.

According to reports, these pistol were hidden in a cavity behind one of the front headlights of the car.

The police have arrested two persons named Niranjan Mishra and Feroz, who belong to Munger.

The police reportedly seized the pistols in a special operation.

The police said the pistols were in the process of being transported to be distributed among gangs in and around the national capital region (NCR).
